Outreach

We’re dedicated to inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists. Through student-led outreach and education we aim to engage students, build their skills, and deliver role models.

We’re always looking for opportunities to engage with the wider community.

Miniature Rover Robotics Workshop

We offer full-day workshops that teach students to design, build, and operate miniature rovers. During the workshop, students learn to design and 3D print wheels using SolidWorks CAD software, assemble their rovers with custom wheels and a breadboard, and program them with Arduino microcontroller kits. These hands-on sessions are designed to be fun, interactive, and give students an exciting introduction to engineering and robotics.

Workshops can be hosted on-campus at Monash University Clayton, in the Woodside Design and Build Studio, where students have access to our computer labs and 3D printers to create their rovers. Alternatively, we can deliver the workshop off-campus, bringing all the necessary tools and equipment directly to schools across Australia.
