Outreach

We’re dedicated to inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists. Through student-led outreach and education we aim to engage students, build their skills, and deliver role models.

We’re always looking for opportunities to engage with the wider community.

Miniature Rover Robotics Workshop

We run workshops where students design, build, and operate miniature rovers using our custom 3D-printed kits - BB Platypus Rover kits. Teams will be assembling the wheels, chassis, and gear train, adding motors, integrating simple electronics with our custom PCBs, and wiring circuits on breadboards. The workshops offer a fun, hands-on intro to 3D printing, mechanical design, and basic electric circuitry, providing young minds an insight into what engineering and robotics can look like.

Workshops can be hosted on-campus at Monash University Clayton or delivered off-campus, bringing all the tools, kits, and equipment directly to schools across Australia.
